Cause :

The median nerve passes through the carpal tunnel in the wrist. Repetitive hand movements (typing, manual work), fluid retention during pregnancy, hormonal shifts, diabetes, or inflammation can compress this nerve, leading to symptoms.

Numbness or tingling in the thumb and fingers, wrist pain, weakness, night pain.
